Top 10: Actors to play Nathan Drake in ‘Uncharted’

As you probably know, Hollywood is now making a film based on Nathan Drakes adventures in the popular PlayStation 3 games ‘Uncharted’. The actor who should play Drake is not yet decided, although Matthew McConaughey have been rumoured to get it.

Here’s our Top 10 of who should get the part. Enjoy and comment!

10: Casey Affleck

The right age, the right look and the right kind of acting. Casey Affleck is a very talented actor, and would definately work in the role as Nathan Drake. He’s brother, Ben Affleck, could also pull off this role, but in my eyes Casey would be the better choice.

9: Brendan Fraser

You’ve probably seen Fraser in films like The Mummy series and Journey to the Center of the Earth. and also his cameo in the TV show ‘Scrubs’. He has the looks, has the attitude and has on previous occasions shown that he is good in these kind of films – as the cocky adventurer.

8: Josh Hartnett

Hartnett is famous for his roles in films like 30 Days of Night, Lucky Number Slevin, Black Hawk Down, Sin City and Pearl Harbor, but he has never tried himself in these kind of films before, as the adventurer. Although, in my opinion, he deserves a chance in this one.

7: Nicolas Duvauchelle

Not that internationally known actor, but has played in several films back home in France. Maybe this should be his chance to get a part in Hollywood as well?

6: David Boreanaz

You probably know Boreanaz from his roles in the TV shows Bones, Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and know it might be his time to shine in a big film. Has shown he’s a talented actor, who also could pull off the role as Nathan Drake based on his looks.

5: Jeremy Renner

Seen this guy before? Maybe, maybe not. Definitily a talented actor, but maybe not that famous. Renner has played in films like Dahmer, The Hurt Locker, S.W.A.T., 28 Weeks Later, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and is also playing ‘Hawkeye’ in the upcoming assembling of superheroes, The Avengers. However, he’s still missing that really big part in a film, and maybe this could be his chance for that?

4: James Roday

You’ve all probably heard of this man from the hit TV show ‘Psych’, and based on his performance in this show, he definitily has the fitting attitude to play Nathan Drake. Roday also looks like the guy as well.

3: Nolan North

Nolan North actually gives the voice for Nathan Drake, and besides that the man actually looks like Drake. Could this be his chance to get a breakthrough as an actor?

2: Joe Flanigan

Joe Flanigan is mostly known for his role in Stargate: Atlantis, and know it might be time to take that final step up as an actor, and get that part in a really big film. Has the looks and the attitude, and is definitely a good number two.

1: Nathan Fillion

This role is as made for Nathan Fillion. He is almost EXACTLY like what Fillions is as an actor. Nathan Drakes looks, attitude and even first name is the same as Nathan Fillions. Fillion has previous been known for his roles in ‘Firefly’, and it’s movie ‘Serenity’, while he now-a-days is playing the role as Richard Castle in the TV show ‘Castle’. Now it’s time for him to get the really big part as an actor.
